Excellent Fautless Service

Our stay at the Crowne Plaza Terrigal was a most enjoyable experience from the moment we arrived to when we left.
The staff have obviously been well trained in all areas and it is clear that the customer is their no 1 focus.

Congratulations to the managment on this.

The restaurant and staff was also a memorable service again with a high standard of service.

Thank you for providing us with a memorable night to celebrate our daughter's 18th Birthday with our family.

Very noisy and no suited to non smokers

Room was great, service and staff excellent, however two issues nearly drove us to cancel and leave....the noise from the musician playing with amps aimed directly at the hotel proved far too loud, and you just could not escape it anywhere in the hotel until it stopped, and there was no double glazing to help reduce this. In combination with the expected noise from kids around the pool it was not great if one wanted some peace, or if tired from international travel. Secondly, if you are a non-smoker, avoid balcony rooms. We tried to open our doors to listen to the sea and all we got was secondhand smoke from smokers in other rooms, even very early in the morning. We paid for a king room with an ocean view with balcony and it was expensive compared to other places we have stayed around the world. In combination with the noise irritation and secondhand smoke, it was not a place we would consider again.

I am sorry that the weekend entertainment on the ground floor was a disturbance to you. We wish for everyone to have a relaxing stay when they come to visit. Comfortable bed, poor attention to detail.

I was disappointed in the hotel not delivering a menu on the first night for pre-booked 'Breakfast on the Balcony' despite the promise of the Dining Room supervisor to send one up that night. I had to dress and go down to the Dining Room early next morning to speak to another supervisor before the order was taken and delivered.

The second morning Breakfast was delivered 45 minutes late and only after I 'phoned to find out why it was late..

No hot water for shower or to wash in Room 717 the first morning. Concierge delivered a key for a 'spare' room 5 levels down. This meant we had to dress and take our fresh clothes in a bag down by elevator before we could shower and I could shave. Unsatisfactory.
