Dated and needing help

The front desk was a zoo. I was bounced between 2 different people. I made my reservation online, which worked out great. I was told where to park my vehicle, and they would validate my parking (which they did). The parking garage looked like something out of an End of the World movie. Cones were placed where parts of the garage had caved in, water dripped from pipes overhead that had broke or rusted through. The garage is shared with the apartment complex next door, so you are competing for spaces. The garage has a low clearance making larger vehicles difficult if not impossible to park.
My room was on the 24th floor (out of 28) and getting an elevator took a long time, even though there were several it seemed only 3 ever came down. The room had no ice bucket, one set of coffee and condiments but 2 cups. The fold out bed had no bedding. The grout in the shower was black and the drain had rusted. The shower curtain had mildew stains at the base of it. There were stains on the carpet. The entire room smelled stale. The bedding I can assume was clean since it smelled like bleach. The sink top was new, but the base was old and looked like it had never been dusted. I can only assume the hotel is in the process of updating. My room number was a piece of paper taped in front of my door. This hotel is in a nice location, though getting there during rush hour or when there is a game is a nightmare.

Good Location. Offers parking on site at a reasonable rate. Nice bar/lounge area in the lobby. Taxi service always available and waiting at curb. Restaurant on site that serves breakfast.

Crowne Plaza STL

When this hotel is updated it will be one of the most amazing gems in STL. As it stands this hotel remains behind in time and the overall quality is thus affected by this point of overlooking substance e.g. quality.

A home away from home

We stayed here for an entire week taking in 7 Cardinal games and getting in some golf and Segway tours and many other activities. Our room was very spacious and there was plenty of storage for all of our things and for the food we purchased. The full size refrigerator was great to have and a ton of shelving in the kitchen kept things for getting cluttered.
It was great not having to wait forever for elevators since it seemed that all of them were working. Check in and check out was quick and easy and the location of the hotel was perfect for everything that we wanted to do.
We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to St Louis.
