but the hotel needs a face lift and a lobby bar that is open at all hours was hard to get a drink or a coffee.
it appears not enough money is spent on hotels here in Australia instead in other regions like Asia hence why the experience of staying at these hotels feel so average its a shame really makes me think twice staying at this hotel chain or any other property they have
overall Australia hotels are very average and one must question weather they should hold there star rating. its a shame cause the staff take pride in giving the best service possible.

Aircon wasn't working on a very hot night in Canberra. Notified reception 4 times, they brought a broken fan on the third call, but had to take it away because it didn't work. The Manager never came back he sent someone with the same fan that was broken, but taped up!! which vibrated all nite. No sleep because of temperature and fan noise.
For the first time in 12 years I used my asthma puffer because I couldn't breathe! Given we had two double beds I had to sleep in a chair as I couldn't breathe with the body heat from us both made it unbearable!
Ineffective management of the issue, no alternative solutions, no consideration for our circumstances and discomfort, offered a free breakfast!!
At around 10am in the morning maintenance attended the room and found the valve was broken and had to manually open it! My last half hour was with a working Aircon!!
On check out, reception tried to charge me for breakfast and when I disputed he checked the notes!
I told him it was my worst hotel experience and he ignored me! Did not acknowledge my issues at all!
Took my money and sent me on my way!
That was the most disappointing part off all!
Do night managers not bring day staff up to speed? I left a comment card with my concerns and contact details but no calls? Lack of care is disappointing!!
I travel regularly for work and personal and must say this was my worst experience but the management of the issues was the worst I have ever experienced! Very poor and unacceptable in the service Industry!

The hotel is nice and comfortable, very comfortable bed and pillows but the bathroom is out dated and looks worst for ware. The staff nice and friendly and helpful. great location but parking is expensive and this is a bit of an issue for me when considering future stay. It was OK for a couple of nights but would not like to pay $18 per day if staying for a week, would consider other hotels with free parking.
