Excellent option in Semarang. Been on the road for 6 weeks and of the 10 hotels, this was the best in terms of overall hotel excellent and reasonable price. Specifically, clean, well organized, best Internet connection I've had in Indonesia (includes Jakarta hotels), 20 minutes from the airport (a big plus), and excellent breakfast. I am not an easy marker. It is hard to impress me.

Compared to my previous stay, the hotel presented me with tremendous improvement. I was truly amazed seeing such changes in such a short time (about a week).
The room we stayed (Junior Suite) was prepared to perfection, with not a single dust on the desk or cabinets. It surely was the cleanest room that could be found in Semarang.
The amenities in bathroom were back to the "good old days", no more of cheap, mysterious products available in wholesale supermarket.
Wi-Fi was fast with no stress at all, even when streaming fairly heavy movie online.
The hospitality of staff from Assistant Executive Manager ~ Club Lounge Staffs ~ Bellboys are just perfect. They all have senses of professionalism, maximizing the guest's satisfaction during the stay.
The only point that still needs improvement, even though this is a little hard to do so (since it may require modification of hotel's hardware), is the temperature of hot water provided in the bathroom. "Warm" rather than "Hot"...with moderate water pressure. Your shower will surely take more time than usual.
Overall, the stay was excellent, and this hotel surely is the best in town. You will not regret your stay, and you will understand that this hotel is IHG once you experience a night here.
I hope all staff would maintain the current quality, and would look forward for further improvement as a frequent user here.
Will come back this Thursday as well.
