Friendly Staff and Great Service

Stayed in this hotel in November, visiting Manila to see a client. I was working nights, so would return to the hotel in the early morning and had the breakfast buffet as my dinner each day.

In general, the room was large and clean, the staff was tremendously friendly, and I enjoyed the food. On the negative side, I was on the 7th floor and the windows provide no sound insulation - very difficult to sleep with all of the traffic outside.

I would recommend the hotel, but also book early enough to specify a room in one of the highest floors, and away from Ortigas Avenue. If I hadn't had to book at the last minute, that is what I would have done, and I'm sure it would have made a difference for my restfulness!

How many mistakes can be made in a week?!

First there was the check in debacle. These people sent me to an occupied room, which could have been much more awkward than it already was had the guest in the room been engaged in anything they would rather keep private as I entered the room.

Then I was put in a room with two single beds. I am a 6'4 guy travelling on my own. Why would I want a single bed?

They would leave about two sheets of toilet paper on the roll and not leave a spare.

If you leave your gown on the ground, they just take it and don't replace it.

At breakfast, you will not be left in peace for a single minute. "Coffee, coffee, coffee?" every minute. In the end I said yes to one after saying no dozens of times just so I could leave it in front of me and not be asked again.

When you get up to get more food, they will clear your table and not replace any cutlery, time after time, and then act like your request is totally left of field when you ask for more.

There was a noise in the room, coming from the air conditioning I think, that never stopped. It was 24/7 and made sleeping a joy.

Seriously bad experience, I couldn't wait to get out of there and will not be back, nor will anyone from my company.
