elevators and WiFi issues

First issue:
Elevators under construction, remaining elevators EXTREMLY slow. Must have heard at least 8 other guests complain about the elevators.

Second issue:
WiFi was virtually unusable.

When I checked out and asked how my stay was, I responded "It would have been better with decent elevators and WiFi that worked". The desk staff told me that both were being worked on. Then after about 45 seconds, indicated she could reduce my bill. I said it's too late, you should have done so without asking.

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our industry there is no ideal time to complete our elevator renovation. We know that a wait for the elevator is very frustrating, and we will continue to creatively manage our staff to reduce the use of the elevators. The entire project will be completed shortly, and we are looking forward to having this brand new product for our guests. Hotel is undergoing elevator construction. We had a wedding to attend and only one elevator was operating causing us delay for the shuttle bus to wedding. Entire hotel is dated and needs overhaul. Room was OK but heat was not working and had to call for repairs. Standard non-descriptive décor needing new furnishings and lighting.
