The stay was during IDEX. So I understand there were a lot of business travelers for the IDEX, and that the Carl Vinson used you as the primary drop off point for Yas Island.

While the Club staff during the morning were not helpful, attentive , or responsive; the afternoon/ evening staff more than made up for the experience. Stepen, from Romania, was always there with a smile, a helpful comment and ready to help. By far the best staff member of the group.

The pillow were tough, asked for feather or softer ones and got some that were a tad bit better but not quite what i was hoping for. The room has a good view, and was always cleaned well. The housekeeping staff worked odd hours, so it was hard to judge when to be gone and for how long so they could clean the room.

Stills bar food was very good. The service was prompt, although some of the staff didn't understand that the IHG card was suppose to get 20% off on food, they only gave out 15%, very odd. The hostess always had a smile, and was eager to quickly seat us no matter what. Great job.

Sundowers staff did a fantastic job, getting orders, and bringing F&B in a timely manner. Very friendly and always asking if more was needed. Keep up the great work.

There was some confusion on the rate i was charged upon check out, but the staff did an excellent job, on checking confirming, and following their procedures to work the issue. Once the shift/ daily manager saw the confusion it was immediately cleared up. Could have gone sideways very quickly, but the professional and well trained staff was a refreshing experience compared to many in the area.

Good experience and will definitely come back again.

Room Good but other bits not so good

The room was comfortable and relaxing, the rest of the hotel was OK. The staff were helpful except for the reception staff who need to listen to customers, though the manager was good. The food was nothing to get excited about, a bit too institutionalised.
I would consider staying there again if I need to be in the locality.

Nice and Calm

The hotel in general is very nice, we had dinner in the Arabic restaurant; food was nice and staff were friendly.

I love the chocolate cake which we received from the hotel.
